If you are working on a large project or looking to purchase a single item in bulk quantities (15 or more) please email our team at hello@movecf.com.au and request a project quote.
This will allow us to work through the best purchase price and delivery costs specific to you.
Terms & Conditions:
1. Applies to quoted and invoice payment orders only.
2. The order must be paid for in full at the time of order placement. Bank transfer only, credit card not available.
3. Delivery date is subject to our notified date/s.
4. Preferred delivery dates and times cannot be requested.
5. Delivery is available Mon- Fri only
6. Assembly is also available at an additional cost.
Order Cancellation
Should you place an order incorrectly, contact hello@movecf.com.au immediately to request any changes to your order. If possible we will make every attempt to correct your order with limited or no additional charges. Unfortunately no cancellations or variations may be accepted if your order has been packed for delivery or has been dispatched.
No order may be cancelled except with consent in writing and on terms which will indemnify Move Contemporary Furniture against any losses suffered by Move Contemporary Furniture including a minimum cancellation and restocking fee. We reserve the right to cancel any order, products or services for any reason whatsoever.
Faults in product
If a manufacturing fault is present, we will gladly replace your item, provide replacement parts or provide a store credit towards a different item. Please note that if a manufacturing fault is present, you must notify us in writing within 3 business days of receipt of the product. If you notice a manufacturing fault, we request that you include photos with your written notice. If we are notified later than 3 business days after delivery of the items, we will not be able to resolve the issue, repair or replace the items. Email us at office@movecf.com.au and include a detailed description of the fault or issue, and photos showing the fault or issue.
Our team will assess your request and advise if a replacement item or repair can be offered under warranty. Once a replacement is approved, our team will arrange replacement item delivery and pick up of the item with fault.
Manufacturing faults do not include the following, and we do not accept returns for items for any other reason, including but not limited to changing your mind, due to colour variations from screen image, variations in product colour, grain or texture due to handcrafted or natural elements of an item, incorrect size ordered, insignificant or minor variations to dimensions, damage during your own transportation if pick up has been selected, insignificant or minor imperfections or superficial blemishes. We do not accept returns or compensation requests for delays in delivery times or delays in supply of your order caused by any reason.
Some of the products we offer are handmade or made from natural materials, and there may be small variations between the product image(s) and the product you receive. We endeavour to ensure that all colours are displayed accurately, but you should be aware that colours may appear differently on different displays and screens. The shade of colour from screen to screen is not a fault or error. This is not a fault or issue with the item and is not covered under warranty. Items constructed of timber or timber look material will have natural variations, this is not a fault or issue with the item.
Delivery Costs
Delivery and assembly costs if applicable are non-refundable.
Regional QLD Delivery
For deliveries where 'ALL OTHER QLD AREAS | Door front delivery | own assembly may be required | additional fees may apply when address is reviewed' is selected, our team will check delivery to your preferred delivery address. Where access is limited, delivery may be made to the nearest town depot for customer collection. If additional delivery costs are required, you will be notified by email, if you do not wish to accept the additional delivery costs you may cancel your order within 24 hours with no cancellation or additional fees.
Delivery Damages
Although we make every attempt, occasionally items are damaged in transit. If you notice significant damage to packaging, please take photos before unpacking and or opening. If on opening, the item is damaged upon delivery, please take photos clearly showing the damage and the packaging and email us at office@movecf.com.au along with your order number within 2 business days of delivery. If we are notified later than 2 business days after delivery, we will not be able to repair or replace the items.
Damage to packaging itself is not claimable under warranty however it helps us to assess the goods for damage during transit. We will communicate with our transport companies to establish possible causes and to confirm. If we determine that the product was damaged in transit, the type of remedy we offer will depend upon the circumstances. We will determine the outcome at our sole discretion and may offer a repair, full or partial refund, replacement, or store credit. Full refunds are only considered once items have been returned in as received condition and are at our sole discretion.
Fault under Warranty
All our items are sold with a manufacturing warranty period. Warranty periods range from 12 months to 5 years. Manufacturer warranty does not include normal wear and tear, damage arising from improper self assembly or modification, damage arising from abuse, neglect or abnormal use, stains or damage caused to fabrics and finishes. Where possible we offer replacement parts to extend the life of your item. The cost of replacement parts or labour where not covered under warranty are at the expense of the customer.
Return Delivery
Where notification of a product fault or issue has been made within 3 business days of delivery of the defective items and Move Contemporary Furniture is satisfied that the items have a manufacturing fault, we will repair, replace, or send replacement parts, free of charge, provided the identified defects have arisen solely from faulty materials and/or workmanship on the part of the manufacturer and this will be the limit of Move Contemporary Furniture liability with respect to any faulty or defective items.
If you have performed your own assembly, a repair, replace or return will not be accepted. You may purchase a replacement part if available.
If a refund is approved, you are responsible for delivering the faulty items back to us within 7 business days of the approval notification. If you would like us to arrange the return delivery of the items within Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast or Ipswich a fee of $85 applies. Returns must be delivered to our warehouse in the original packaging or in as new condition. If we receive products without the original packaging or not in as new condition, we will not accept the return. Once returned items have been received and assessed a refund will be made back to the original card or account used to purchase.
We will not accept responsibility for any products that have been damaged as a result of mistreatment, inattention, interference and/or malicious damage. The return to Move Contemporary Furniture of faulty items without Move Contemporary Furniture written consent will not in any way affect your obligation to pay for the products in accordance with these terms. You expressly discharge Move Contemporary Furniture from any liability whatsoever (including but not limited to any claim for negligent misstatement or breaches of the Trade Practices Act 1974) arising out of a delivery of defective items if notification of the defect has not been made to Move Contemporary Furniture in writing within 3 business days of delivery receipt of the items.
Lead and Delivery Times
All attempts are made to advise realistic lead times for our products. From time to time lead times can change and you will be notified. Preferred delivery dates can not be requested however we understand being present for a delivery can be challenging. If you are unable to be present, please advise us immediately upon receipt of your scheduled delivery date, we will assess one change of delivery date request. Where possible we will reschedule for your preferred delivery date. If your preferred delivery date is not available, we will schedule a new delivery date after your preferred date. As you can appreciate the delivery of furniture items is different to the delivery of a small package and with this comes the cooperation of the customer to enable the delivery of bulky items.
When ordering items from Move Contemporary Furniture online you agree to indemnify Move Contemporary Furniture against any losses suffered due to product delays. In all matters arising from item delays and / or lead times, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Move Contemporary Furniture for any damages and losses arising from item delays caused by Move Contemporary Furniture, our suppliers or third party carriers.
